Book design on René Prou, an important decorator and designer from Art Deco French movement.
He starts a true international career after his presentation at Exposition internationale des Arts décoratifs et industriels modernes in 1925. He realizes the decoration of cruise ships, luxury trains such as the Orient-Express and important shops like Mitsukoshi in Tokyo. This first monograph reveals unpublished documentary funds and family archives.
The book is made of large entry pages with refined work on typography. The typographic style is directly inspired by the thirties.
