book: Paul Brandt
author: Blue-Marine Massard
Paul Brandt is an artist from the 1920s who played a major role in the revival of modern jewelry and decorative arts. He worked alongside the biggest names, such as Fouquet, Templier and Sandoz.
This first monograph retraces his entire journey, drawing on previously unpublished iconography and research. Born in Switzerland, Paul Brandt moved to Paris at a very young age, where he specialized in jewelry design. First in an Art Nouveau style, then Art Deco. From the 1930s, he returned to a more industrial art and extended his activity to interior decoration.
